![]() ![]() This crash is not caused by Krita's inability to open the file but rather by your system's inability to handle the file. Right now I cant animate and that really sucks. If Krita crashes when you try to open a file without giving a warning message, the likely cause is that the file size is too big. Try deleting the files C:WindowsSystem32Wintab32.dll and C:WindowsSysWOW64. If there are any logs I can get or some media of the crash let me know. Uninstall your native tablet drivers, restart your computer and try again. I'm using a wacom cintiq 16 as a third monitor with a weird overall resolution (ultrawide monitor in portrait, gaming monitor 1440p and cintiq below that one) so I had to do some pixel things in the settings so that I didnt have a weird offset in the Krita canvas, so resetting is tough. I am on Windows 10 with the up to date Krita Steam version. I tried resetting my settings, fresh installation, all that. On my old animations I cannot play them back or select more than 2 frames. This Krita tutorial is the simplest and quickest way to use. ![]() We want to make sure Krita works well for all of our users, so I will do my best to figure out a way to solve this Flatpak/Steam/AppImage incompatibility in the future. this gets the highly unstable branch that constantly keeps crashing. So when creating a new animation frame 1 works, frame 2 works, but frame 3 crashes right after clicking the create blank frame button. The app keeps crashing after I updated the app. This happens on old and new animations, and happens when I play them or select another frame, beyond 2 frames. This is after the latest update on Steam (that's where I bought it). When loading more than 2 frames of animation Krita crashes on me. Hey, I'm not sure how to report a bug officially, so I thought I'd drop it here. ![]()
